Wood-based panel sales representative

 

Job Description:  Acquire and maintain wholesale wood-based panel business.

 

Essential Job Functions:
1. Develop and manage customer base necessary to achieve sales goals set by management.
2. Maintain high level of product and vendor knowledge.

3. Work with all channels of distribution to assess and analyze opportunities.
4. Serve as point of contact for customer complaints.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of wood-based panel industry.

2. Self motivated to excel with minimum supervision.

3. Effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to work well with customers and co-workers in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desired.
2. Minimum 3 years sales experience in the wholesale wood-based panel industry.
