Softwood Buyer

    Conner Industries has an open position for a softwood lumber buyer.  Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in softwood purchasing and be willing to relocate to Fort Worth, TX. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Managing current mill relationships and establishing new mill relationships

• Purchasing lumber for direct lumber trades

• Purchasing lumber for inventory in the company’s 10 remanufacturing locations

• Evaluating and negotiating lumber contracts

• Analyzing inventory costs

• Managing inventories in specific company locations
