About our Company

Conner Industries is a leading manufacturer of industrial wood and packaging solutions. We sell softwood, hardwood, pallets, skids, and crates. As Conner seeks out new industries to serve we recognize the requirement of having a robust Quality Management System (QMS). Conner is currently operating under a QMS but now needs full-time support in maintaining and improving upon what exists today.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain, review, and improve upon existing QMS
  • Write procedures, work instructions, and other controlled documentation
  • Support Manufacturing by resolving Quality issues
  • Manage internal audits and facilitate external audits as needed
  • Assist in handling customer returns, completing root cause analyses, and driving pragmatic corrective and preventive actions
  • Train employees at various levels of the organization on relevant QMS topics
  • Create Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering desired, although a combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered
  • 2-5 years of Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Lean/6σ experience a bonus
  • Ability to self-direct, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
