Meet Our Leadership Team

Mike Huggins is Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at Conner Industries, where he leads enterprise strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and long-term growth initiatives as the company expands its integrated packaging platform.

Mike joined Conner in 2007 in Sales and quickly recognized the need for solution-based selling in the industrial packaging market. He played a key role in developing and expanding relationships with large, complex manufacturers across multiple industries as Conner broadened its product and service offerings. In 2015, Mike was promoted to Director of National Accounts, where he built and led a national team focused on delivering tailored packaging solutions and high-touch service to strategic customers.

In December 2019, Mike was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Strategy with a mandate to help guide Conner’s evolution from an industrial lumber provider into a fully integrated packaging company. Since then, he has led the acquisition of six companies across four states, supporting Conner’s expansion into new regions, capabilities, and industry verticals while ensuring disciplined integration and sustained performance across the portfolio.

Prior to joining Conner, Mike was a professional baseball player within the Baltimore Orioles organization. His experience in professional athletics shaped a leadership approach grounded in discipline, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement—principles he applies in building scalable strategies and high-performing teams at Conner.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University and a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Liberty University.
