Meet Our Leadership Team

Jason Smith is Chief Financial Officer at Conner Industries, where he oversees the company’s finance and information technology functions, supporting disciplined growth, operational scalability, and strong financial governance.

Jason joined Conner in 2017 as Corporate Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2019. He has more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, including over 20 years in manufacturing and industrial environments. His background spans financial reporting, controllership, corporate consolidation, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions, with direct experience operating in private equity–backed organizations, including KKR.

Prior to joining Conner, Jason held senior financial leadership roles at The Crosby Group, GE, Devon Energy, and Hertz, supporting complex, multi-entity organizations across manufacturing, energy, and industrial services. At Conner, he plays a central role in financial stewardship, business planning, and process improvement, partnering closely with operational and commercial leadership to support long-term performance and value creation.

Jason has a double BS in Accounting & Finance from Oklahoma Christian University and an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from Oklahoma Christian University as well.
